Indoor trainer sessions have been the order of the past fortnight. One argument for indoor sessions could be to give our regular trails a chance to dry out and reduce our impact on their current heavy condition. Another could be to maximise the available time by putting in a good heart rate session whilst still managing to catch up with the weekly riding crew.
Downloaded heart rate results prove these are no picnic, so either side you choose to argue from is difficult due to shortness of breathe. Indoor wind training is still a very effective method of not letting the weather rule out the ride.
