My bro put forward the idea of getting out for a few hours and seeing some bushland so we ventured out for a taste of some local trails. A great mix of single track challenged plenty of climbs and descents. The weather was a favourable change from recent downpours though there were still
some pretty heavy sections to cross. One creek crossing was a first as every previous time I had ridden the crossing it was only a dry gully with a steep approach and a tricky exit line out. Said approach had become quite slippery with the consistent winter wet, and the tricky crossing was all the more difficult as it was completely submerged. Most other trails had benefitted from the dampening but a few had become quite sloppy to traverse.
Seen here is Ran putting in a snack after one of climbs near to the midway point of the day.
